Mahogany 1940 Vintage Georgian Style Cedar Lined Trunk or Blanket Chest

A cedar lined trunk or blanket chest was carved in the 1940's in the Georgian manner with a shell motif and claw and ball feet. The outside is mahogany with an excellent deep restored finish on this unsigned American made vintage furniture.
The latch is removed (but included separately) so the lid cannot be locked for safety.
Size is 42" wide, 22" deep and 31" tall.
