Signed "James Dixon & Sons, Sheffield," an English pewter teapot dates from around 1870. The leaf and finial handle on the hinged lid is charming on this antique pot. There are dings and wear for a little character, see photos.
The teapot is 6 1/2" high and 9" across from handle to spout.
