A spectacular sideboard, server or buffet from about 1925 has inlaid marquetry and banding of rosewood, burl and ebony. Richly carved of walnut, the top is genuine Macassar Ebony.
Signed by "Rockford Furniture of Rockford, Ill," this grand antique furniture was made for a summer mansion on Green Lake, Wisconsin.
The restored finish is in excellent condition on this palatial American made ensemble. Trestle bases with center finials add strength to the robust frame. Two silver drawers have original velvet lining, patinated brass hardware is original.
Measurements are 88" long, 24" deep, 45" tall and the top surface is 37" high.
