A Victorian period hanging lamp from about 1890 has a hand made cranberry hobnail glass shade and font mounted on a lavishly embossed patinated brass frame.
The burner is signed "Scovill," and still burns oil or kerosene, it could be electrified if desired. The shade and font are are undamaged and could be original. There is a smoke bell, and the winders have been locked so the lamp does not move up and down.
Diameter is 14" and overall height from the top hanging hook as shown is 36" high.
