A lovely 1880's French mantel clock has a bronze base with marble inserts and a dark patinated pewter figure of a young woman lost in a book.
The brass silent movement has been professionally cleaned and oiled and runs accurately for a week on a winding. The porcelain dial has a hand painted maker's signature and town that are undecipherable.
Measurements of this exquisite antique are 15" wide, 5" deep and 12 1/2" tall.
