A bookcase from the Mission Oak or Arts and Crafts period about 1900 is solid quarter sawn oak with an ebonized or charcoal toned finish, sometimes called "fumed," preserved with later satin varnish.
Doors have original wavy glass, original hardware and a working lock and key. Shelves are adjustable on this American made antique library furniture.
Measurements are 42 1/2" wide, 14" deep and 61" tall.
