Originally built for a high school in Milwaukee around 1925, a rugged maple hardwood workbench would make a great counter, wine tasting table or country kitchen island.
A glowing restored finish is excellent on all sides with wonderful warm patina, preserving loads of character - stains, burns, and mars.
Four large dovetailed drawers have original bin pulls. Large iron bolts are also original on this salvaged furniture, which retains a smell of oil from its days in the shop. Behind the butcher block top is a recessed tray area to keep tools and parts from rolling away.
Dimensions are 54" long, 23" deep and 34 1/2" tall.
