A late Victorian or Eastlake period 1880's chest or dresser is solid cherry and birch, with incised "spoon" carving of the era.
Clear varnish preserves the original finish with lots of stains, mars and wear for antique character. American made furniture, drawers have round "pin and cove" dovetail joints, see photos. Hardware is original as well as the original beveled mirror is in a swivel frame with some scratches, see photos.
Size is 43" wide, 21" deep and 79" tall, the dresser surface is 32" tall.
