This authentic Hepplewhite period chest or dresser was hand made of solid cherry about 1780 in New England.
The old finish is not original, but has warm antique patina, preserving stains, mars and restorations. There are also shrinkage separations from age for a little character, see photos. Rear feet are restored.
Graduated drawers have hand cut dovetail joints and chamfered bottoms on this American made historic furniture. Brasses appear original, some of the hand wrought bails vary, see photos.
Measurements are 41" wide, 19" deep and 42 1/2" tall.
