Hand crafted of solid butternut in the 1850's, a Victorian period armoire has hand carved door panels.
The restored finish is in excellent condition with warm patina on this American made country furniture. There are shrinkage separations from age, see photos. Drawers have carved pulls and hand cut dovetail joints. Square cut nails are visible.
Interior depth is 18," there are removable carved wooden clothes pegs from the days before hangers. More shelves or a closet pole could be installed if desired. This antique does not disassemble.
Measurements are 56" wide at the crown, 22" deep and 77" tall.
