This solid copper and brass beer testing pump dates from around 1900, and was used by a brewmaster to draw a sample from a barrel.
There would have been a leather seal on the bottom of the movable shaft, so this tester is not working. There are dents and dings from a century's use.
Size including the removable handle is 41" long, 12" across and 6" deep.
