Rosewood Marquetry Console Cabinet, Angel Cherub Mounts, Marble Top, Italy

A palatial hall console cabinet is genuine rosewood, mahogany and walnut burl with masterful inlaid marquetry and a Brescia Italian marble top.

Crafted in Italy about 50 years ago, the front and sides are gracefully curved. Cast brass cherubs or angels and other lavish mounts have a rich deep bronze patina.

The restored gleaming finish is in excellent condition on this luxurious vintage furniture. Doors have a working lock, drawers have dovetailed joints and curved fronts. The shaped 1 1/4" thick marble has been polished and given a protective finish.

Dimensions are 53" wide, 18" deep and 40" tall.
