A bronze sculpture of a Roman young woman in classical garb bearing grapes from the harvest is from the early 1900's, signed "Boyer" at the bottom.
The French sculptor, Emile Boyer, lived 1877-1948. This multi-talented artist worked in bronze and marble and was also a landscape painter.
This work of art has rich deep patina and rests on a black marble base. The separate bronze castings have a little play but are secure.
