A spectacular Victorian period etagere was also called a "what not," used to display almost anything. Hand carved of solid walnut about 1860, the deep sculpting shows great artistry.
The restored finish is in excellent condition on this American made parlor furniture, preserving a few mars and stains for a little antique character. The drawer has hand cut dovetail joints and a hand carved pull. There are minor stains on the antique marble shelf, see photos.
Dimensions are 51" wide, 17" deep and 92" tall.
