A traditional French "Semainier" or weekly lingerie chest has a drawer for each day of the week, and dates from the 1920's. Marquetry designs include matched mahogany, rosewood and ebony and satinwood banding.
The restored finish is in excellent condition. Mounts and pulls are cast patinated brass. Drawers have dovetailed joints and bow fronts.
Measurements are 28 1/2" wide, 16" deep and 54 1/2" tall.
