This Empire style hall console from about 1910 is signed "Royal" and was known as a "Petticoat" table because the plate glass mirror below allowed women to adjust their petticoats. Flame grain mahogany is beautifully matched, with inlaid front corners on the top, see photos.
The restored finish is in excellent condition on this American made antique furniture, the drawer has dovetailed joints and original glass and brass knobs. Centered in the traditional lyre shape base is the original plate glass mirror.
Dimensions are 48" wide, 20" deep and 35 1/2" tall.
