This rugged kitchen island or wine and cheese tasting table was used in a French cooking school. Tops are maple butcher block, the base is oak with porcelain feet. The drop center is tin on this American made vintage commercial grade furniture.
The restored finish is in excellent condition, preserving the wear on the galvanized tin center plus a few mars and stains for character. Two pull out cutting boards give extra workspace. There are touchups to the porcelain enamel on the feet.
Measurements are 66" wide, 24 1/2" deep, and 32 1/2" tall. The lowered center section is 25" wide, 23" deep, and 5" below the wood top.
