Item# 29127
An architect's or drafting stool from about 1910 is solid quarter sawn oak with a birch seat. The cast iron swivel mechanism adjusts up and down. There is a heel ring around the rugged base.
The restored deep finish is in excellent condition, preserving just enough mars and dings for a little antique character. Reglued to serve another generation, this American made office or library furniture is tight and strong.
Size is 14 1/2" across the feet, seat is 14" in diameter and 30" tall.
