Victorian Eastlake Walnut Burl Queen Size Bed Set & Marble Top Dresser #29132

A magnificent two piece queen size bedroom set was hand carved of solid walnut in the late Victorian or Eastlake period about 1880.

The set comprises a bed, dresser with marble top and beveled mirror. The finish is in excellent condition preserving some mars and shrinkage and enhancing deeply sculpted details, spiral columns and burl panels. Drawers have dovetailed joints on this American made antique furniture.

The bed has been expertly converted to standard modern queen size and includes wooden slats.

Measurements are 66" wide, 88" long, the headboard is 79" tall and the footboard is 37" high.

The dresser has an original swivel mirror with a little antique "smoke" to show its age. "Tennessee Red" marble has been polished and sealed to resist stains.

Measurements are 51" wide, 22" deep and 80" tall, the marble top is 30" high.
