A spectacular French bronze filigree wall clock from around 1900 is signed "A D Mougin." The lacquered case has deeply sculpted filigree castings and is quite heavy.
The original brass movement has been professionally cleaned, oiled and adjusted. It keeps correct time for a week on a winding, a silvery bell counts the hour and rings the half hour on this antique clock. Numerals are hand painted and enameled, the dial cover has beveled convex glass.
Measurements are 37" tall, 16" wide and 6" deep, weight is 40 lbs.
