This oak sideboard, server or "hunt board" was carved in the English Tudor manner during the 1920's. A smaller sideboard like this was used to serve a cold buffet of smoked meats and cheeses after hunting. The engraved signature plate is from the famous "B. Altman & Co., New York." Doors have wonderful panels with walnut burl centers.
The restored deep finish is in excellent condition on this American made antique furniture. The drawer has solid oak sides with dovetailed joints and original oak knobs. The lock in the doors does not work, the key is a handle only.
Size is 43" wide, 20" deep and 34 1/2" tall.
