An exquisite jewelry box is genuine cast heavy weight bronze, and has deeply embossed angels with wings and cherub heads in the Renaissance manner. There are medallions of "champleve" enamel on this French antique jewel chest from the later 1800's.
The double throw lock has a working key. The left front foot is slightly bent, see photos. On the bottom is a hallmark signature.
Size is 7" x 5" and 6" tall.
