Made for a railroad station about 1885, a solid oak slant top desk is at standing or stool height. There is a pencil groove in front of the flat top back for books. Three drawers have dovetail joints and original embossed bin pulls.
The restored deep finish is in excellent condition, preserving stains, holes, graffiti and dings for antique character, see photos. American made furniture from a train depot, the base disassembles for easier delivery.
Measurements are 8' long, 35" deep and the top slopes from 41" high at the front to 42 1/2" at the back.
