An Empire period hall console from about 1835 flips open to make a game table. Solid mahogany with dramatic flame grain panels, there is a "secret" compartment under the swivel top. Feet are hand carved on this American made furniture.
The restored finish is in excellent condition, hand rubbed for a silky feel, and preserving a few irregularities for a little antique character.
Measurements in console position are 38" wide, 19" deep and 29" tall, when open to game position size is 37" x 38."
