A solid quarter sawn oak 9 drawer file cabinet stacks like the bookcases of the same era, about 1910, and we are told the "Globe Wernicke" signature label was lost during restoration. Drawer fronts are hinged to tilt open for easier access. Hardware and label holders are original on this American made antique library or office furniture.
The restored deep finish is in excellent condition. Drawers all have adjustable pushers and fit standard letter size files. The top and base are also separate stacking modules.
Measurements are 41 1/2" wide, 18" deep and 47" tall.
