A rugged swivel desk chair from about 1930 is solid quarter sawn oak,with a rubber bumper around the front edge. No maker's signature survives.
The restored deep finish is in excellent condition and the frame is reglued to serve another generation.
An original iron mechanism has adjustable height and tilt. Curved lumbar spindles and the sculpted seat are comfortable on this American made vintage library or office furniture. Ball bearing wheels are modern replacements.
Size is 23" wide, 22" deep, 34" tall and the seat is 17" deep and 18" high as shown, adjustable up or down.
