Made in the 1890's to hold spools of thread for sale in a general store, this solid oak spool cabinet could also be a collector or jewelry chest. Six drawers have brass pulls. On the customer side is an original decal for "Clark's Mile End Spool Cotton."
The restored finish is in very fine condition, preserving a few stains for a little character, see photos. Under the slanted desktop lid on this American made Victorian period furniture is a storage compartment. Behind the leather writing surface there is a groove for pens and a replaced glass inkwell.
Measurements are 33 1/2" wide, 24 1/2" deep and 15" tall.
