A Craftsman period double file cabinet from about 1910 is quarter sawn oak. Signed by famous maker, "Globe Wernicke" of Cincinnati, Ohio, this was made for Purdue University of Indiana. Eight drawers fit standard letter files and have adjustable pushers and original dark patinated brass hardware.
The restored deep finish is in excellent condition on this American made antique library or office furniture. Sides are paneled. The file separates into two manageable four drawer sections for easier delivery.
Size is 34 1/2" wide, 28" deep and 53" tall.
