Crafted for a Wisconsin general store about 1875 during the late Victorian or Eastlake period, this counter could also serve as a bar or kitchen island. Solid pine and poplar, delicate incised carvings of ivy leaves are beautiful on this American made antique furniture.
The restored finish is in excellent condition, preserving loads or mars and wear for antique character. The base is rebuilt, the interior shelf is removable.
Dimensions are 76" long, 23 1/2" deep and 35" tall.
