A Victorian period desk from about 1880 is solid walnut with a banded butternut top. There is a locking secret compartment on the right side. A locking door at the right covers cubicles for papers and ledgers.
The deep restored finish is in excellent condition, preserving just enough mars for a little antique character on this American made library furniture. Drawers have original carved pulls and dovetail joints.
Dimensions are 54" long, 30" deep, 31" tall and the kneehole is 27" high and over 20" wide.
