This traditional Italian armoire, wardrobe or closet was hand carved of solid walnut about 1900 in the Piedmont region around Milan. The pillowed raised panels are characteristic of the region.
Sides have raised panels on this antique furniture. Inside are drawers and adjustable shelves as shown, there are sockets where a closet pole could be installed in the center section if desired. This imposing armoire can be disassembled for easier delivery. Only the center doors have working locks.
The old finish is very well preserved, waxed and buffed, so all that is needed to maintain the warm patina is an occasional wipe with a soft cloth.
Measurements are 89" wide, 25" deep and 92" tall.
