This splendid sideboard, back bar or server is from the late Victorian or Eastlake period about 1870. The marble top, beveled mirrors and engraved brass pulls are all original. Solid walnut with matched burl panels, the hand carving is masterful.
The old finish is in very fine condition with a few mars for a little character and minor touchups. A "Tennessee Red" marble top has been polished and given a protective finish. American made antique furniture, this is one of the best of its kind. drawers have hand cut dovetail joints. Beveled mirrors have a hint of smoke to show their age.
Measurements are 76" wide, tip to tip, 25" deep and 84 1 /2" tall.
