A striking five piece bedroom set from the late 1930's includes a queen size bed, dresser, mirror, tall chest or highboy and nightstand. Matched mahogany, burl, walnut and rosewood banding are beautiful. No maker's signature survives.
The restored finish is in excellent condition, preserving delicate deep gold painted accents. Embossed brass hardware is original on this American made superior quality vintage furniture. Drawers have curved fronts and solid oak sides with dovetail joints.
The bed has been expertly adapted to modern queen size, the demonstrator mattress and spring unit in photos is 18" thick together. Wood cross supports are included as shown. Size is 66" wide, 85" long, the headboard is 59" tall and the footboard is 24" high.
Bow front dresser measurements are 52" wide, 23" deep and 34" tall. The wall mirror has a little antique "smoke" to show its age and is 30" wide, 41" tall and 1 1/2" deep.
Tall chest size is 38" wide, 21" deep and 44 1/2" tall. Size of the semi-circular nightstand is 20" wide, 14" deep and 27" tall.
