A drafting, architect or artist stool from the very early 1900's is solid quarter sawn oak, signed "B.L. Marble Chair Co., Bedford, Ohio." The iron swivel mechanism has adjustable height and there is a ring footrest.
The restored deep finish is in excellent condition on this American made Craftsman library or office furniture. Curved lumbar spindles are comfortable. The frame is strong and tight, reglued to serve another generation.
Measurements are 18 1/2" wide, 22" deep and height adjusts from 48" to 52 1/2" tall and the seat from 21" to 36" high.
