Made for a printer about 1910 during the Arts and Crafts or Mission Oak period, this unusual desk is quarter sawn oak. Drawer interiors are enameled steel, the file drawer has a push button to drop the front for easier access and an adjustable pusher. In the back of the top left drawer is a 5 x 8 file also with a pusher.
The restored deep finish is in excellent condition on this antique American made Craftsman library or office furniture. Shallow drawers were used for large type and logos. Patinated brass pulls and feet are original.
Measurements are 63" wide, 32" deep and 30" tall, the kneehole is 22 1/2" wide and 24 1/2" high.
