French Antique Carved Chestnut Bath or Pantry Cabinet, Armoire 1889 #32329

A traditional bath cabinet, pantry cupboard or small armoire is from the Brittany province of France. Hand carved of solid chestnut, the top is cherry. Brass studs form "89" for 1889 on the front.

The restored finish is in excellent condition on this antique country or farmhouse furniture. The giant lock and key work and there are wooden pegs at the joints. Panels are shaped wide planks with shrinkage separations from age, see photos.

Measurements are 22" wide, 15" deep and 58" tall.
