Farmhouse Quilting Frame or Kitchen Island Base, Antique Country Pine #32601

Hand crafted around 1890 in classic farmhouse style, this country pine quilting frame can be disassembled. If it were reinforced or glued permanently, this would be a charming base for a kitchen island with a top of your choice.

Removable carved wooden pegs and wedges secure the frame together on this traditional American made primitive furniture. Corners have wooden ratchets to tighten the quilt when stitching.

The original finish has glowing warm patina, and has been waxed and buffed, so all that is needed to maintain the soft luster is an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth.

Overall size when assembled is 103" long, 36" wide and 32 1/2" tall.
