This 9 drawer file cabinet Pat. 1906 has the same construction as stacking "lawyer's" bookcases and is signed by famous maker, "Amberg of Chicago." Quarter sawn oak has bold grain.
The restored deep finish is in excellent condition on this American made antique library or office furniture. The top and rebuilt base are also separate stacking modules.
Six large lower drawers fit standard 10" x 12" files, three smaller upper drawers fit 7' x 9." Patinated pulls and label holders are original, drawers have adjustable pushers with original labels.
Size is 33 1/2" wide, 26" deep and 53 1/2" tall.
