A late Sheraton period chest or dresser was handcrafted of solid cherry with edges of golden sapwood around 1825.
The restored finish is in excellent condition preserving just enough pegs and mars for antique character. Drawers have chamfered bottoms and hand-cut dovetail joints. The brass pulls appear original on this American-made antique furniture. There are cut square nails on the paneled back.
