This outstanding Victorian period dental cabinet from the 1890's is solid quarter sawn oak with revolving drawers. The signature is lost, but we have seen this distinctive dentist cabinet before, made by "Frank S. Betz Co., of Hammond, Indiana and Chicago."
The restored finish is in excellent condition on this antique dentist's furniture. The top center door has a removable drill bit holder that might work for earrings, and on the right is a compartment with steps inside.
There are 15 drawers of various sizes, original felt linings are worn. The upper right door has an original beveled mirror, the lower door has a raised panel. The pull out shelf has a new leather insert.
Size is 29" wide, 16" deep and 60 1/2" tall.
