A gorgeously carved Victorian Renaissance period three piece bedroom set includes a queen size bed, small chest, commode or nightstand, and chest or dresser with mirror.
- American 1870s antique furniture
- Deeply carved solid walnut with beautiful walnut burl panels
- Restored finish in excellent condition, preserving dings, mars, surface irregularities, & shrinkage separations - see photos
- Brass hardware is original
- Drawers have hand cut dovetail joints
- Nightstand has a working lock with key on doors & a removable wood shelf
- Dresser mirror has a bit of "smoke" for antique character
- Mirror & later nightstand backsplash are removable
- Bed is expertly adapted to fit a modern queen size demonstrator mattress as shown, includes wooden supports as shown
- Removable marble tops have minor stains and have been polished & sealed for protection
- Headboard crest & finials are removable
Bed size is 90" long, 68" wide with headboard 84.5" tall and footboard 38" tall. Slats sit 8.5" from ground and demonstrator mattress is 16" thick. Interior dimensions are 84" long and 64" wide.
Nightstand, small chest or commode is 36" wide, 18.5" deep and 34.5" tall.
Dresser with detachable mirror is 51" wide, 21" deep and 105" tall.
