An Empire period hall console table from the 1830's has a flip and swivel top to open into a square game table. Matched flame grain mahogany is beautifully figured, the shaped column and scroll feet are well proportioned.
The restored finish is in excellent condition, preserving just enough mars and wear for a little antique character. There are hand cut dovetail joints on the back of this American made antique furniture.
Measurements in console position are 36" wide, 29 1/2" tall and 18" deep, opened to a game table, the top is is 36" square.
