Hand carved of maple and birch about 1850 in New England, this traditional style "deacon's" bench could have been used in a home, railroad station or barber shop.
The restored finish is in excellent condition. Sturdy and strong, this American made antique furniture has been reglued to serve another generation. There are lots of mars and stains from age for antique farmhouse character.
Size is 109" long, 16" wide and 33" tall. Seat is 12 1/2" deep and 17 1/2" tall.
