- Quarter sawn oak
- Top surface has been refinished for durability. The rest of the old finish has been cleaned and preserved with a coat of clear varnish
- Mars & shrinkage separations from age - see photos

- Removable shaped and beveled original mirror has a bit of "smoke" to show its age - see photos
