A tall chest or dresser from the late Victorian or Eastlake period has a "sidelock," which locks all the drawers at the same time.

- Top surface has been refinished for durability. The rest of the old varnish has been cleaned and preserved with a coat of clear finish.

- Drawers have dovetail joints
- Working lock and key in sidelock
