A palatial "Bureau Plat," a library or office desk was hand crafted in the Louis XIV manner and has stunning cast brass mounts with female figures at the corners.

• French vintage 1950s "bombe" or convex shaped furniture
• Tulipwood with intricate inlaid marquetry, gracefully curved all around
• Top has been refinished for durability. The rest of the old varnish has been cleaned and preserved with a coat of clear finish.
• Minor dings, surface irregularities, & shrinkage separations - see photos
• Ornate heavy cast brass hardware is original
• Drawers have dovetail joints
• Original gold-tooled leather has minor wear and mars - see photos

Size is 71" wide, 32" deep, and 31.5" tall with legroom 23.5" high.
