An Arts & Crafts or Mission Oak period stacking file was originally used by the US forest service.
- Antique 1910 period furniture
- Signed "Globe-Wernicke" made in Cincinnati, OH
- Solid oak with loads of quarter sawn grain
- Map drawers have finger holes to push up papers
- Top surface has been refinished for durability. The rest of the old varnish has been cleaned and preserved with a coat of clear finish.
- Minor dings, mars, & shrinkage separations from age - see photos
- Brass hardware is original
- Drawers have dovetail joints
- New top
- Disassembles into four pieces for delivery
Size is 33.5" wide, 17" deep, and 31.5" tall. Card file drawer size is 5" wide, 15" deep, and 3.5" tall. Map drawer size is 30.5" wide, 15" deep, and 2" tall.
