Chinese Antique Carved Elm Opium, Marriage or Day Bed #50316

Originally crafted for use in an opium den, this traditional design marriage bed could function as a day bed.

• Chinese antique 1890s furniture
• Carved Asian elm hardwood with original hewn log supports underneath
• Old varnish has been cleaned and preserved with a coat of clear finish
• Mars, losses & shrinkage separations from age - see photos
• Woven cane center has lots of flex
• Three top sides are removable

Bed size is 98" long, 56" wide and 34" tall. Interior dimensions of the bed frame are 91” long and 54.5” wide. Bed sits 21" high from ground.
