A late Victorian or Eastlake period bookcase from about 1880 is solid walnut with matched burl panels and incised "spoon" carving. Doors have original wavy glass and shelves adjust on wooden supports.
The restored finish is in excellent condition on this American made antique library furniture. Drawers have round "pin and cove" dovetail joints. Brass hardware is original, door locks work with a key. The upper section is removable.
Size is 48" wide tip to tip, 19" deep and 77 1/2" tall.
