Antique Oak Library Table or Writing Desk circa 1895
From the late Victorian period about 1895, this understated library table or writing desk is solid quarter-sawn white oak. The finish is superb in a golden brown on all four sides, the embossed pulls and lower shelf supports are original.
There are dovetailed joints on the drawer, and this is very sturdy and substantial antique furniture.
Dimensions are 42" long, 28" wide, 29" tall, and legroom is 22 1/2" underneath.
